The main responsibilities of the IT Department are to plan and set up the Academy’s
information environment, to develop and maintain the Academy’s information and website
systems, and to support external projects according to the needs of each business
unit. In 2009, the Department took notable steps in advancing the Academy toward
its topquality integrated service goals. In addition to devising new-generation
website development projects, and planning the setup of an information service monitoring
system, the Department also furnished a mechanism for tracking customer satisfaction
and feedback, as a means of putting into practice the concept of placing service
first.

The main aims of the new-generation website development projects were to establish
a brand-new face for the website, set up a new shopping process, integrate business
services within the Academy, and unify technological development. With the whole
staff of TABF joining in the planning of these projects, we expect them to present
our website users with more personalized, intimate and integrated services, and
thus prove beneficial to promoting the Academy’s business. Alongside its work on
these projects, the IT Department also conducted thorough, across-theboard, real-time
monitoring of services and processes from a user-centric perspective, to provide
the whole Academy and external users with a more stable, secure and excellent information
environment. By these and all available means, the IT Department strove to enhance
the Academy’s information competitiveness and the provision of prime-quality information
services.
