The Administration Department fulfills an array of back-office functions, including
personnel affairs, general affairs, clerical duties, accounting, financial affairs,
and cashier operations. It carries out all of its duties in accordance with the
Academy’s core principles of accentuating People, Passion, Professionalism and Precision,
with the goals of pursuing excellence of quality and enhancing the academy’s internal
services.

In 2009, this department’s focal tasks included participating in the government
program to give graduating university and college students workplace experience
in non-profit organizations, revising the Academy’s rules and regulations concerning
personnel affairs, and commissioning outside consultants to carry out a human resources
inventory based on the competencies required for the various staff positions within
the Academy, to identify competency gaps as reference for future staff placement,
training and education. For this last-mentioned task, interviews with senior executives
and a meeting to explain the human resources inventory had already been completed
before the end of the year.
