Publication and Communication
The Publication and Communication Institute primarily publishes books on banking and finance for professional and general readerships and reference books for test preparation, providing a high-quality publishing list to serve the general community of banking and finance professionals. The Institute boasts a rich databank of financial information and an expert editing team, which enables it to publish varied and specialized works of the highest quality, and to establish an excellent image in the field of financial publication.
In 2009, the Institute issued a total of 34 works in printed and e-book form, producing more than 60,000 copies of these works in the course of the year. New publications included: 3 test preparation books on bank internal control and SME financial management; 21 specialist works on banking and finance, including Practice in Trust Taxation; three volumes for general readership, including Self-Recourse or the Hand of God; and 7 e-books, including How to Read Financial Statements. In addition, the Institute undertook commissioned projects such as the Financial Knowledge Online Contest and Prize Draw Project carried out for the Executive Yuan’s Financial Supervisory Commission.
